Authentic Yoga in a modern way.
I know every yoga class says it, but this class really is suitable for everyone! The only prerequisite is you can get down on the floor at the start of the class, and back up again at the end (you can even do it on a bed if that suits you better). All postures (Asana) are practiced on the floor and modifications are given throughout to make the session fully accessible. There are dedicated breathing practices (Pranayama) to cleanse, invigorate or calm, and a guided relaxation to finish. This is a traditional 90 minute yoga class, giving you the time to fully experience the benefits of the practice.
You will need a mat or towel/blanket to lie on.
Wear comfortable clothing in which you can move easily e.g. a t-shirt and leggings/tracksuit bottoms, and extra layers or a blanket for the guided relaxation.
Please feel free to have a bottle of water nearby.

Your sessions with Vicky will integrate all these aspects of Yoga to gain the full benefits of the practice. Yoga can benefit the body through gaining strength and increased flexibility, the breathing becomes more full and relaxed and the mind is quietened.
